Trail Of Tears History
Trail of Tears History honors the Southeastern “Five Civilized Tribes” among other tribes who were forcibly relocated under the Indian Removal Act 1830 by US Military. The painting also shows how history influences art, as it also refers to the bronze sculpture End of the Trail created by James Earle Fraser, who was influenced by Indian removal in the United States of America.
The acrylic painting on 16x20 inch stapled, cotton canvas is #3 in the Trail of Tears Memorial Collection etched and painted on February 17, 2024 and repainted on July 1, 2026.
