Lakesides acrylic 24x30 inch canvas

Lakesides created and owned by Shannon Comes At Night, legal name-Blackfeet enrolled member in Montana-created this 24x30-inch acrylic painting and etched the characters on January 17, 2024 and repainted on same canvas on June 22, 2026. 
Lakesides is one of first paintings Shannon created. The acrylic explores the fictional story created by Shannon of miles-high trees that grew on earth millions of years ago before the floods and climate changes. These flesh-eating trees meet their end when meteorites and plasma storms fell them, leaving craters that would become lake beds. 
Shannon is a Native American and studied at The University of Montana with degrees in English, MA, English Creative Writing, BA, and Print Journalism, BA.
